Boston College women's golf team placed 18th at the Briar's Creek Invitational in Johns Island, South Carolina in a three-round tournament on March 21 and 22. No. 8 Florida won the event with a -6 (858) while Indiana placed second with a +5 (869.
BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Rookie Katie Kim had a strong two days as she shot a 71 on Monday and a 75 and 76 to round out her tournament. Kim was tied with nine others in 38th place. She had five birdies in her first round and finished the three rounds with eight overall.
- Freshman Ailin Li placed tied in 73rd place as she shot a 77, 76 and 77.
- Sophomore Katie Barrand also finished in 73rd place. She shot a 77 in round one and followed up with a 76 and 77.
NEXT UP
- Boston College will compete in the Clemson Invitational at the Reserve at Lake Keowee on Friday, April 1 to Sunday, April 3. The par 72 course plays at 7,112 yards.
