BC FACES NC STATE IN FINAL ROAD TEST
• Boston College travels to Raleigh on Wednesday night to take on NC State at 9 p.m. at PNC Arena.
• The game will be televised by RSN/NESN and can be heard on the radio on WEEI 850 AM and bceagles.com.
• Boston College has lost its first 16 conference matchups, most recently losing to Georgia Tech on Saturday afternoon, 76-71.
• NC State has lost three of its last four, including a 75-66 setback at Syracuse on Saturday.
• Boston College snapped a six-game losing streak to the Wolfpack with a 79-63 win last season inside Conte Forum.
LAST TIME vs. NC STATE
• Olivier Hanlan recorded 24 points, eight rebounds and three assists as Boston College defeated NC State, 79-63, on February 28, 2015 at Conte Forum.
• He was 7-for-11 from the floor, 3-for-4 from beyond the arc and 7-for-8 from the foul line.
• Patrick Heckmann finished with 14 points, seven assists and four rebounds.
• Dimitri Batten had 11 points and a season-high eight rebounds.
• Aaron Brown scored 13 points and Dennis Clifford had 10 points and five boards.
• Boston College started the game on an 11-2 run in the first 3:06. Batten hit a pair of 3-pointers in that stretch.
• NC State responded by scoring the next seven points to pull within two.
• BC went on another run, this time a 10-2 one, to build a 21-11 lead with 9:39 left in the half.
• The Eagles then closed out the half by scoring eight of the final 10 points to take a 43-26 halftime lead. Brown had five of the points, including an and-one conversion as time expired.
• BC scored the first six points out of the locker room to extend its lead to 49-26, but the Wolfpack responded with seven straight of their own to make it 49-33.
• The Eagles' led by double digits the rest of the way.  Â
EAGLES LOSE TO GEORGIA TECH
• Graduate student Eli Carter finished with a game-high 25 points while adding nine assists as Boston College lost to Georgia Tech, 76-71, on Saturday at Conte Forum.
• Carter was 10-for-18 from the floor.
• Senior Dennis Clifford recorded 17 points, four rebounds and three assists.
• Freshman Sammy Barnes-Thompkins scored a season-high 15 points while adding three rebounds and two assists. He was 5-for-8 from beyond the arc.
• Georgia Tech went on a 14-3 run over 3:28 to take a 22-10 lead seven minutes into the game.
• Boston College cut the lead to seven, 28-21, but the Yellow Jackets took a 48-35 lead into halftime.
• BC started the second half with an 11-4 run in the first 3:27 to cut its deficit to 52-46. Barnes-Thompkins hit a pair of 3-pointers in that span.
• Georgia Tech led, 56-48, then the Eagles scored six-straight points to make it a 56-54 game with 10:07 left.
• The Yellow Jackets responded right back with seven unanswered to get their cushion back at 63-54.
• BC got to within a possession, 74-71, with 12 seconds left, but that is as close as it would get.
