The Game
• Boston College travels to Brooklyn this weekend to play Fordham on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Rose Hill Gym.

• BC is looking for its third victory of the season as the Eagles are now 2-5 in non-conference action.
• Sophomore Mariella Fasoula is coming off a 29 point, nine rebound game against Penn State in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. The 29 points stand has her career high.
• Fordham defeated Duquesne on Thursday night, 64-51, to push the Rams record to 5-2 on the season.
• The Rams were led by Danielle Burns with 22 points while G'mrice Davis chipped in with nine points and 10 rebounds. Fordham held the Dukes to nine points in the first quarter and led, 30-23, at the half.

• This will be the sixth meeting between the two programs on the hardwood.
• BC has a 3-2 edge in the overall series.
• The teams last met on Dec. 8, 2004 with the Eagles taking an 82-40 victory behind 18 points form Jesslyn Deveney and 10 points and 10 rebounds from Brooke Queenan. BC held a 43-17 lead at the half.
• The first meeting between BC and Fordham took place on Feb. 3, 1973 at the Roberts Center on the campus of Boston College. The two teams played in 1973, '74 and 1975. They did not play again until the 1994 season when BC lost, 60-57.

Penn State would hit three more foul shots to pull away for the win.

• The Eagles have started one senior, two sophomores and two freshmen in the first four games of the season. It is the youngest starting lineup since the 2011-12 season when BC started four sophomores and a junior. The lineup has been juggled a bit due to injury - graduate senior Kailey Edwards has earned a start in the last two games, while junior Marti Mosetti has started the last three games.
• Graduate student Kailey Edwards needs 122 points to reach 1,000 career points (which includes her points while at Denver). Edwards returned to the lineup in her home state of Colorado this past weekend. She averaged 28.5 minutes, 6.0 points and 3.0 rebounds a game in the tournament. Her first start at Conte Forum came on Wed. night against Penn State, when she recorded a career-high five assists.
• Junior guard Marti Mosetti had four assists at Seton Hall which pushed her over the 200 career plateau. She now has 25, averaging a team-high 3.57 a game.
• Sophomore Mariella Fasoula needed just seven points in the last game to reach 500 career points. The second-year center scored 29 points and now has 522 career points. She is averaging 5.8 rebounds a game in two season. She currently has 53 in seven games for a 7.6 average this season.
• Freshman Georgia Pineau has started all seven games this season. She is the first rookie since Nicole Boudreau'16 to start the first seven games. Boudreau actually started every game in her first season - 2012-13.
