HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first quarter, Boston College struggled to contain G'mrice Davis as she scored 10 of the Rams16 points. BC's offense sputter and shot just 27 percent from the floor in the quarter. After one, BC was down, 16-10.
- Mariella Fasoula opened the second quarter with a bucket inside to but the Rams lead to four points. Davis responded and after Emma Guy scored her 10^th point, BC did not score for four minutes and Fordham's lead brew to 10 points with 3:54 to play. Four points by Fasoula and two by Emilee Daley kept the Eagles within nine points at the half – Rams 29, BC 20.
- Fordham opened with four quick points to increase its lead to 33-20. BC responded on a layup by Georgia Pineau at 7:07, 33-22.
- Daley hit the Eagles only three-pointer in the game at 1:56 in the quarter and BC was down, 40-31. BC finished the quarter on a 4-0 run to cut the Fordham lead to, 42-35.
- Fasoula opened with a layup inside the Eagles cut the lead to five points – 42-37. Fordham went on a 8-2 run, six points from Danielle Burns and BC went down, 50-39. Guy and Ortlepp to get the team within seven points with 4:40 to play. BC scored just four points, in the final 3:23 to play. Davis scored with 17.7 to play, Fordham's first field goal since the 5:50 mark, but the Eagles effort fell short.

- Graduate senior Kailey Edwards earned her third consecutive start this season. She is closing in on 1,000 career points, as the Colorado native needs just 122 points to reach the plateau.
- This will be freshman Georgia Pineau's seventh consecutive start. She is the first rookie since Nicole Boudreau '16 to start the first seven games of the season.
- This was the first meeting between BC and Fordham since the 2004 season.
- Freshman guard Taylor Ortlepp saw her first action of the season. She entered the game 4:55 in the first quarter. She played 17 minutes, had two points, four assists and a steal.
