THE GAME
• Boston College and Fairfield will square off at Mohegan Sun Arena on Wednesday night in the Birthday of Basketball doubleheader hosted by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
• The doubleheader also features Auburn and Oklahoma in the later game.
• The doubleheader takes place exactly 125 years to the day that Dr. James Naismith, a physical education teacher, introduced the new game of basketball to his class in Springfield in 1891.
• The Eagles have won two in a row, most recently defeating Sacred Heart at home on Sunday, 82-75.
• Sophomore Jerome Robinson set career highs in points (32) and steals (5) in that game.
• Fairfield has lost its last three outings, including a 99-78 setback at NC State on Sunday.

• Boston College owns a 25-10 record all-time against the Stags.
• The series dates back to the 1951-52 season with the Eagles taking a 75-55 home victory.
