- Boston College forced nine turnovers in the first seven minutes and jumped out to a 21-12 lead thanks to an 11-4 run.
- Sacred Heart scored seven unanswered points over 1:22 to pull within 29-26, but BC responded with 10-straight of its own to build the lead back to 39-26 with two minutes left in the half. Robinson had seven of the points.
- The Eagles took a 41-30 lead into the break.
- Sacred Heart started the second half with a 16-2 run over the first eight minutes to take a 46-43 lead. Those 16 points went unanswered as BC scored the half's first bucket.
