The Game
- Boston College will host Central Conn. State on Sun., Dec. 18 at 4 p.m. This will be the second game of a double-header at Conte Forum as the men host Sacred Heat at 1 p.m.
- BC (4-6) is coming off a 57-53 victory over Providence on Dec. 10. Mariella Fasoula had 18 points, while Kelly Hughes chipped in with 15 and Kailey Edwards added 12.
- Central Connecticut (1-8) fell to Stone Brook, 64-59, on Sunday, Dec. 11. Freshman Cebria Outlow scored a career-high 17 points with six boards, while sophomore Kiana Patterson had 13 points and six assists.
- BC and CCSU have five common opponents - Dartmouth, Hartford, Seton Hall, Syracuse and Virginia Tech.

- The two teams have played eight times with the Central Connecticut leading the overall series, 6-2.
- The two teams first played on Feb. 13, 1975 on the road. BC lost, 76-56.
- CCSU won the first six meetings. The Eagles played the Blue Devils three times in the 70's (75, 76, and 77) and three times in the 80's (80-81 and 82) before the two teams played in 2006. The Eagles defeated the Blue Devils on Nov. 24, 2006, 67-57, at the Rhode Island Tournament.
- The two teams last played on Jan. 2, 2012 with the Eagles earning a 57-49 victory. Kerri Shields had 16 points and six rebounds, while Katie Zenevitch chipped in with 14 points and six boards.

- Graduate senior Kailey Edwards notched her 1,000th collegiate point when she scored 12 in the win over Providence on Dec. 10. The Colorado native is now averaging 29.8 minutes and 6.5 points a game.
