- Sunday's game will be the Eagles' third game against a ranked team so far this season as the Huskies come into the contest ranked No. 10 in both polls
- BC is 1-0-1 against ranked teams this year after tying then-No. 3 Quinnipiac 0-0 at home and defeating the Bobcats in Hamden, Conn., 4-1, on Oct. 21-22
- This will be the sixth-straight meeting between BC and Northeastern in which both programs are ranked, including all five contests in 2015-16

- Last year, BC won all five meetings between the teams, including a 7-0 win in the Beanpot final and a 5-1 win in the NCAA Quarterfinals
- BC is 16-17-1 in games played at Matthews Arena and 16-15-4 in meetings at Kelley Rink ... the teams have met eight times on neutral ice, with BC leading 5-2-1 in those games

- Megan Keller is the Eagles' active leading scorer against Northeastern ... in 8 career games, she's recorded 13 points on three goals and a team-high 10 assists
- Keller's first career three-point game (1-2-3) came against the Huskies on Jan. 10, 2015
- Last year, Keller notched eight points (1-7-8) in five meetings
- Andie Anastos ranks second with 12 points in 13 games (3 goals, 9 assists) ... Anastos is also a team-best +18 in her career against Northeastern ... in 2014-15, Anastos recorded at least one point in each of the teams' four meetings
- Kenzie Kent's 10 points in nine games is tied with Kristyn Capizzano's 10 points in 13 games for third on the team
- Kent's five goals are the team's active lead against NU
- Makenna Newkirk posted all six of her points in two games against the Huskies last year: 1-2-3 in the Beanpot final and 2-1-3 the following game at Kelley Rink

LET'S NOT GET HOME SICK
- After defeating New Hampshire, 7-1, last Saturday, the Eagles will not play another home game until after the new year - Jan. 4 to be exact
- While BC will only play a total of four games between home contests, it will span seven-and-a-half weeks between games at Kelley Rink
- The Eagles will play a pair at Northeastern (Nov. 20, 26) before rounding out 2016 at Providence (Dec. 3) and at Dartmouth (Dec. 7)
- BC returns home on Jan. 4 against Syracuse
EAGLES STILL PACING HOCKEY EAST
- Despite notching two league losses already - the team's most since 2013-14 when they had two in the 21-game season - Boston College is still pacing the league in almost every statistic, including the standings
- After last Saturday's win, the Eagles now have an 8-2-0 record in league play and a conference-topping 16 points
- In Hockey East games, BC is the conference's top scoring team (4.10 goals per game), has scored the most goals (41), is top defensive team (1.70 goals allowed per game), has the top power play (27.8 percent)and best net special teams (+13)
- BC is also the only team in Hockey East ranked in every edition of both the USCHO and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls this season
LUCKY SEVENS
- Boston College has gone 6-1-0 in its last seven games, with the lone loss coming at Boston University when the Terriers stormed back to claim a 5-3 win at Walter Brown Arena after entering the third period down 2-0
- In the last seven games, BC has averaged 4.56 goals per game while surrendering just 1.71 goals per game
STREAKERS
- Several Eagles enter Sunday's game with scoring streaks intact
- Caitrin Lonergan has a team-best and season-best seven-game streak in place (5-9-14 points)
- Makenna Newkirk has a four-game streak going (3-5-8)
- Kristyn Capizzano is sitting on a five-game point streak (3-4-7)
LONERGAN STORMING ON THE COLLEGIATE SCENE
- Caitrin Lonergan has stormed onto the collegiate hockey scene in her freshman season
- A member of the U.S. Under-22 team this summer before arriving at The Heights, Lonergan is the ONLY freshman in the nation to rank in the top 20 in every major offensive category: points, goals, assists, power-play goals and shorthanded goals
- She's the top-scoring freshman in the country with 20 points
BELINSKAS IS THE EAGLES' GOLDEN GIRL
- Boston College debuted new third sweaters this fall - gold jerseys with a circular shield on the chest featuring the Eagles' secondary flying Eagle logo ... and one player certainly enjoys wearing them
- BC has won the jerseys twice and in those two games, Delaney Belinskas has a combined seven goals
- On Oct. 9, the sweaters made their first-ever appearance and Belinskas scored four goals - the first BC freshman to do so in 21 years
- On Nov. 14, the Eagles wore them again and Belinskas had a hat trick
FRESHMAN MAKING NOISE NATIONALLY
- Two members of the Eagles' freshman class are among the nation's leaders - both among freshman and all players - in various scoring categories
- Caitrin Lonergan leads all freshman nationally in scoring (20 points), points per game (1.43), assists (11), power-play assists (6) and power-play points (10)
- Delaney Belinskas' 11 goals lead all freshman nationally, while Lonergan is second behind her (9 goals)
- Overall among all skaters, Lonergan is tied for seventh nationally in points (20), tied for 10th nationally in goals (9), tied for ninth nationally in assists (11), tied for the national lead in power-play points (10), tied for fourth in power-play goals (4) and tied for second in power-play assists (6)
- Belinskas is tied for second nationally in goals (11) and tied for fourth in power-play goals (4)
HOCKEY EAST MAKES IT FOUR WEEKS IN A ROW
- Boston College players have earned Hockey East weekly awards for four straight weeks
- Katie Burt kicked off the run by earning Player of the Week honors on Oct. 24 after her performance in the Eagles' series against No. 3 Quinnipiac
- Andie Anastos then was co-Player of the Week on Oct. 31 for her efforts in the Eagles' sweep of Connecticut
- On Nov. 7, Caitrin Lonergan picked up BC's second Rookie of the Week nod after her stand-out performances against Boston University ... she was then christened Hockey East's Rookie of the Month for October
- Last week, Lonergan repeated as the ROTW while Toni Ann Miano picked up her first career weekly honor as the co-Defensive Player of the Week
- Earlier this season, Delaney Belinskas was tabbed Rookie of the Week after her four-goal outing against Maine in early October
BURT'S NEXT HEA SHUTOUT WILL TIE THE RECORD
- Katie Burt's next Hockey East shutout will lift her into a tie for the conference's career shutout record
- Currently, the mark is held by Melissa Bourdon (UNH '07) who had 18 in her career
- Burt enters the weekend with 17 career league shutouts
- BC's Molly Schaus '11 ranks third on the list with 14
