Eagles Look To Bounce Back At No. 2 Wake Forest

BC is unbeaten in last three ACC matches
EAGLES TRAVEL TO #2 WAKE FOREST SATURDAY
• Boston College will head south to take on #2 Wake Forest on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at Spry Stadium.
• The Eagles (6-5-2, 2-2-2 ACC) are 1-0-2 in their last three ACC matches, tying #9 Louisville and #3 Clemson, and winning at Pittsburgh.
• Wake Forest (11-2-2, 4-1-1) has only lost once after falling in its season opener. The Demon Deacons beat #2 Louisville at home last weekend and won on the road at South Carolina on Tuesday.
• Wake Forest has a 6-5-2 record in the series since 2005 and has won each of the last three outings, including a 5-0 triumph last year in Newton.
LAST TIME vs. WAKE FOREST
• Wake Forest scored seven minutes apart in the first half to build a 2-0 lead in the 40th minute en route to a 5-0 win on October 2, 2015 in Newton.
• Wake Forest started with the chances early and held an 8-1 advantage in shots in the first 45. Jack Harrison had three quality looks before connecting on the first goal in the 33rd minute. The Demon Deacons held a long possession in the attacking third as BC couldn't clear, then Ian Harkes fed him and he finished to the right side for the 1-0 lead.
• Wake scored again seven minutes later when Tane Gent sent home a deflected ball.
• The Deacons continued the scoring in the 58th minute when Brad Dunwell pushed a short cross to Jon Bakero. He crossed it into the box where Kevin Politz headed it past the keeper.
• Harrison added his second goal of the match in the 67th minute and then Jared Odenbeck connected on a penalty kick with eight seconds left to finish it.
OT GOAL GIVES UCONN 1-0 WIN
• Dylan Greenberg scored his first goal of the season with seven seconds left in the first overtime period to lift Connecticut to a 1-0 win in Storrs on Tuesday night.
• Connecticut took the first four shots of the match forcing saves from freshman Jack Bacon and sophomore Cedric Saladin.
• Sophomore Simon Enstrom took Boston College's only shot of the first half in the 25th minute but his attempt sailed wide of the target.
• The Huskies took the first five shots of the second half but none of them tested Saladin. Freshman Younes Boudadi recorded the first shot on goal for BC in the 60th minute but it was saved.
• Enstrom notched the other shot on goal in the 76th minute.
• UConn ended it in the 100th minute when Greenberg scored with seven seconds left in the first overtime. Abdou Thiam and Kwame Awuah earned the assists.
