Boston College will get back on the pitch on Sunday afternoon as the Eagles host NC State in an important ACC match at the Newton Soccer Field (1 p.m.).
The Eagles are coming off a tough 3-2 double-overtime loss at Louisville. BC is now 9-2-1 overall and 1-2-0 in the ACC. NC State is coming off a 2-1 victory over Wake Forest last Sunday. The Wolfpack are now 8-3-0 and 2-1 in the conference.

She is now seventh on the all-time list for points and third overall in goals scored. Two more goals by Dowd will move her into sole possession of second all-time on the goals scored list.
- The combination of McKenzie Meehan and Hayley Dowd is the most prolific scoring duo on BC program history. Together they have scored 93 goals, 20 assists for 204 total points. The Kristie Mewis-Victoria DiMartino combination scored 73 goals, 63 assists for 209 points.
- McKenzie Meehan scored the third goal in the Eagles victory over Pittsburgh on Thursday night. The two points gives Meehan 118 career points, which is the new program record for point scored. Meehan has the record for career goals (55) and game-winning-goals (18). Meehan scored the historic goal on a header in the box in the 83rd minute of play. Last year Meehan broke the goal scoring record on the road at Pittsburgh.
- In the 2016 season freshman Jenna Bike and graduate McKenzie Meehan (twice) have earned Eagles of the Week honors.
- The Eagles have six players that have played and started every game – McKenzie Meehan, Lauren Berman, Gaby Carreiro, Jenna Bike, Samantha Hiatt and Madison Kenny.
- Since Coach Alison Foley's arrival in 1997, the BC women's soccer program is 13-5-2 in season openers. The team has also won the last five season openers, including this year's 2-1 win over Providence.
