BC FACES SYRACUSE INÂ FIRST ACC ROAD TEST
• Boston College will travel to Syracuse on Wednesday night for a 7 p.m. game at the Carrier Dome.
• The game will be televised by RSN/NESN and can be heard on the radio on WEEI 850 AM and bceagles.com.
• Boston College lost its first two ACC games at home, most recently against Notre Dame last Thursday, 82-54.
• Syracuse has lost its first four conference games of the year, including an 84-73 loss at home to North Carolina on Saturday.
• The Orange won both meetings between the two teams last season and own a 43-24 all-time record in the series.
EAGLES LOSE TO NOTRE DAME
• Senior Dennis Clifford recorded 13 points and five rebounds as Boston College lost to Notre Dame, 82-54, last Thursday night at Conte Forum.
• He was 4-for-5 from the field and hit all five of his foul shots.
• Graduate student Eli Carter also scored 13 points.
• Freshman Jerome Robinson had 11 points and three steals.
• Boston College led early, 9-4, but Notre Dame scored 12 unanswered points over two minutes to take a 16-9 lead.
• That ignited a 21-4 run that made it a 25-13 Irish lead with 5:39 left in the half.
• BC cut the deficit to seven, but Notre Dame scored the last six points of the half to take a 37-24 lead at the break.
• The Irish pushed its lead to 20 points, 46-26, less than five minutes into the second half and led by 17 or more the rest of the game.
