When the Eagles were down, 12-3, in the second half, the Maroon & Gold surged back to score four consecutive goals (Caroline Margolis, Kara Magley, Tess Chandler, Covie Stanwick), bringing BC within five of the Greyhounds.
Junior midfielder Kara Magley recorded a career-high eight draw controls while junior defender Molly Erdle tied a career high with three caused turnovers against Loyola Maryland.

KEY PLAYS

Five straight goals from the Greyhounds (Kara Burke, Annie Thomas, Burke, Taryn VanThof, Hannah Schmitt) gave the Greyhounds a 7-1 advantage in the first half.
Loyola Maryland entered halftime leading, 8-2.
Kara Burke Burke scored a career-high eight goals for 10 total points to stifle the Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Greyhounds went up, 2-0, in the first three minutes of the game.
Sarah Mannelly cut through the Loyola defense to cut the lead to 2-1, 7:40 into the game.
After a BC turnover caused by Katrina Geiger, the Greyhounds' Kara Burke converted her 62^nd goal of the season to regain a two-goal lead with 14:22 to play in the first half.
Burke's goal sparked a five-goal run that would send Boston College into halftime trailing, 8-2.
Loyola came out strong in the second frame to put the Eagles in a nine-goal deficit, their largest of the season.
BC scored four consecutive goals (Margolis, Magley, Chandler, Stanwick) in the second half to pull within five of the Greyhounds.
Loyola countered with a 6-to-4 run to finish the game out with a 19-12 win.
