Softball vs. BU Game Called Due to Weather

Chestnut Hill, Mass.- Boston College's game against Boston University was called in the top of the third on Wednesday afternoon. A mixture of rain and hail left the umpiring crew no choice but to cancel it. Whether or not this game will be made up has yet to be decided.

Boston College was down 3-0 in the bottom of the second, but a single by Taylor Coroneos drove in two runs, shortening the defecit.

Depending on the weather conditions, the Eagles will try to squeeze in a doubleheader tomorrow afternoon against the UMass Lowell Riverhawks.
