HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston College netted the first three tallies within the first four minutes of the game, but Notre Dame quickly rallied to tie it up, 3-3, with 11:19 left in the first half.
- Following the 3-3 stalemate, the Eagles rattled off the next nine goals, including five from Stanwick, to take a commanding 12-3 advantage. The nine-goal spurt start at 9:24 of the first stanza and continued into the second half as Stanwick accounted for her sixth goal of the game at that point at 16:57.
- Notre Dame score two goals approximately two minutes apart at 14:12 and 12:04, but was quickly negated by three more Eagle tallies.
