Tampa Bay, FL.- Boston College went 1-1 on Saturday. After losing to Central Michigan, 2-0, the Eagles won 3-0 over Portland State. Both games consisted of pitcher's duels.
Central Michigan's Cynthia Knapp pitched a complete game shutout against BC in the first game of the day. Boston College only managed two hits against the ace.
Jordan Weed had a solid outing vs. Central Michigan, allowing two runs and striking out three.

In the second game of the day vs. Portland State, Allyson Frei pitched a shutout of her own, racking up six strikeouts.
After Megan Cooley opened the game up with a double, Annie Murphy launched her first home run of the season.
In the second inning, Jordan Chimento launched a home run to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead.
That would be all Frei would need as she would take home her eleventh win of the season.
Boston College will return to action tomorrow morning vs. Wisconsin at 9 a.m.
