Hanlan, Stanwick Named Eagles of the Week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Junior Olivier Hanlan (men's basketball) and senior Covie Stanwick (lacrosse) have been named Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.
Hanlan averaged 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists as men's basketball went 2-0 last week. He shot .464 (13-for-28) from the field. He recorded 15 points and six rebounds in a 66-59 win at Virginia Tech. Hanlan then added 19 points, eight assists and four rebounds in the 79-61 victory over Georgia Tech on Saturday. The Aylmer, Quebec product was also named First Team All-ACC by the media and coaches.
Stanwick led lacrosse to a pair of victories last week. The attacker led the offense with five points on three goals and two assists in BC's 17-6 win vs. Holy Cross on March 3. Stanwick then scored a career-high seven goals in BC's 15-6 win over No. 16 Notre Dame on Saturday. Her eight points were a season high for the team this year.
Men's basketball (12-18, 4-14 ACC) faces Georgia Tech in the first round of the ACC Tournament on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Lacrosse (6-0, 2-0 ACC) hosts Louisville on Wednesday at noon and Connecticut on Saturday at 1 p.m.
