Head Coach Ashley Obrest:
On their incoming freshmen:
"The freshmen were brought in to be immediate contributors. There's always a transition period and they've made the transition pretty seamlessly. We've added two talented pitchers in Ally Frei and Jessie Dreswick, and when you balance that out with Jordan Weed's experience, good things are in store. We also have depth in the infield and behind the plate with Chloe Sharabba and Jordan Chimento. Aside from the freshmen, all of the returning players continue to get better each day and that's the goal for this team."
On their season opener:
"We're out to make it to regionals this year and we know it all starts this weekend. UCF had a great season last year, so an early test will be good for us. George Mason is another great opponent to be facing opening weekend. We're excited to get on the dirt and show a bit of a different look for BC Softball."
