HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston College led, 18-15, and scored seven unanswered points to build a 25-15 lead midway through the first half. Sophomore Darryl Hicks hit a pair of 3-pointers in that stretch, his first career points at BC.
- UMass Lowell responded with a 14-3 run over the next 2:27 to take a 29-28 lead with seven minutes to go. The River Hawks hit four 3-pointers in that run.
- The Eagles closed out the half with a 9-2 run to take a 37-31 halftime lead. Robinson hit a deep three at the buzzer.
- The BC lead reached 43-33 just over three minutes into the second half.
- The River Hawks whittled the lead down to 49-46, but BC responded with seven-straight points to make it a 10-point lead once again with 7:40 left.
- It was a 61-54 BC lead with four minutes to play, but UMass Lowell scored 11-straight points in 44 seconds to take a 65-61 lead with 3:15 left in the game.
