BC HOSTS DELAWARE SATURDAY NIGHT
• Boston College will host Delaware on Saturday night at 7 p.m. inside Conte Forum.
• It is the first meeting between the two programs.
• The game will be streamed on ESPN3 and can be heard on the radio on WEEI 850 AM and bceagles.com.
• Boston College stopped a six-game losing streak with a 91-60 win against Maine last Sunday.
• It was the largest margin of victory for the Eagles since January 5, 2010 - an 89-32 win over NJIT.
• Delaware has won three of its last four outings, including a 70-69 comeback win at Marist last Saturday.
EAGLES GET BACK IN WIN COLUMN
• Graduate student Eli Carter finished with 16 points, nine assists and eight rebounds to lead Boston College to a 91-60 win against Maine last Sunday.
• Freshman Jerome Robinson matched Carter with 16 points while adding four rebounds and three steals.
• Freshman A.J. Turner recorded 11 points and six rebounds to go along with two blocks and two steals. He was 5-for-9 from the field.
• Sophomore Darryl Hicks tallied 11 points, five assists and three boards off the bench. He also had a pair of steals.
• Senior Dennis Clifford had 10 points and six rebounds.
• Boston College started the game with a 16-3 run over the first 5:15. Robinson had seven points in the opening stretch.
• The Eagles led, 27-17, when Maine scored seven unanswered points to make it a 27-24 game with four minutes left in the half.
• BC responded with a 17-3 run over the next 2:54 to build a 44-27 lead with less than a minute left and took a 44-29 lead into the locker room.
• The Eagles scored the first 11 points of the second half to take a 55-29 lead a little over four minutes in. Clifford had four of the points.
• The lead was over 20 points the rest of the way.
NOTING THE MAINE WIN
• Boston College's 31-point win against Maine was its largest margin of victory since January 5, 2010 - a 89-32 win over NJIT.
• The Eagles assisted on 24 of its 36 baskets in the game. It was the most assists for BC since it had 25 on December 19, 2010 against Bryant.
• Boston College's 10 blocks against the Black Bears were the most since it stuffed Miami 11 times back on January 15, 2008.
