BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomore Mohammed Moro recorded his first career goal in the 16th minute which was all Boston College needed for the victory.
- Senior Alex Kapp matched a season high with five saves in goal for his second win of 2015.
- Head Coach Ed Kelly recorded his 298th career win. He would become the 19th active head coach and the third in the ACC to reach 300 wins.
TURNING POINT
Moro connected on a goal in the 16th minute and BC held on from there for the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams took a shot before Moro scored the game's lone goal in the 16th minute. He took a shot that was blocked by a defender, but the rebound fell back to him and he put it in the back of the net for the score.
- Brown took 12 shots in the second half and all of Kapp's saves came in the second 45.
- The Eagles had a chance to add some insurance in the 53rd minute when Brown committed a foul in the box. Sophomore Len Zeugner took the ensuing penalty kick but shot it wide of the target.
- The Bears took four shots in the final six minutes but could not get on the board.
- Brown held a 17-13 advantage in shots and took 13 corner kicks. BC took just one corner.
