BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior Zeiko Lewis and freshman Trevor Davock led Boston with two shots apiece.
- Davock and junior Isaac Normesinu recorded the only two shots on goal for the Eagles.
- Senior Alex Kapp made three saves in goal in 63 minutes of action.
TURNING POINT
Clemson's Thales Moreno scored in the eighth minute and the Tigers would hold on for the 1-0 win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Moreno's strike came 7:01 after the opening whistle. Paul Clowes sent a pass into the middle of the box and Moreno finished it from just inside the 18-yard line to give Clemson the lead.
- Boston College took four of the next six shots but none of them were on target.
- Kapp then made a pair of saves two minutes apart at the 10-minute mark and sandwiched in between was an Iman Mafi attempt that hit the crossbar.
- BC took four shots in the second half, including the Normesinu shot in the 86th minute that had to be saved.
