Chestnut Hill, Mass. -
The 2014-15 Boston College lacrosse team will be led by senior attack Covie Stanwick, senior midfielder Mikaela Rix and junior midfielder Sarah Mannelly. Head coach Acacia Walker made the announcement on Tuesday.
“I am so excited about Covie, Mikaela and Sarah. My confidence in them not only comes from their actual ability as players, but from their unique personalities that make them individually strong and the values the share as BC lacrosse players. Their character, integrity and commitment is unquestioned and the love for their teammates is what makes them worthy of being our captains. There is no question they will carry on the legacy from captains who came before them and they will bring honor to all those associated with the program,” said Coach Walker.
