Stanwick Named Brine Player of the Week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College junior Covie Stanwick has been named the Brine Player of the Week, announced by InsideLacrosse.com on Tuesday.
Stanwick captured the honors after leading the way for the Eagles in both of their contests last weekend. The Tewaaraton nominee notched a game-high eight points (5g, 3a) in the first round win over Bryant and followed up that performance with another game-high outing over Loyola (3g, 1a).
The Baltimore, Md., native has compiled a team-high 84 points on the season and dished out a team-high 37 assists.
The Boston College women’s lacrosse team made history over the weekend capturing its first and second NCAA Tournament games. The Eagles improved to 15-5 over the season and will take on the Syracuse Orange in the Quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon in Syracuse, N.Y.
