Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Seniors Blake Butera and John Gorman were named the 2015 captains of the Boston College baseball team, voted by their teammates, head coach Mike Gambino announced on Thursday.
"I'm extremely excited to have Blake and John lead this ball club this year," Gambino said. "It has been awesome to watch these two young men grow and mature into great teammates and great leaders. This is a team that has a bunch of great leaders in the junior and senior class and these two have been chosen by the team to lead. I think they will do a great job and have great amount of support around them."
