Freshman Q&A: Trevor Massey

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College freshman infielder Trevor Massey begins his baseball career at The Heights after graduating from Swampscott High School in 2013 and playing a postgraduate year at Tilton Academy in 2014. He helped lead Tilton to the 2014 Lakes Region Championship and earned Lake Region Pitcher of the Year and First-Team All-Lakes Region All-Star honors, compiling an 8-0 record, a 0.45 ERA and 71 strikeouts. In his final season at Swampscott, he led the Northeast Conference with a .552 batting average and 32 hits and was tied for second with 15 RBIs, earning him Northeastern Conference League MVP honors.
Massey, whose father played football at BC, talked about how his year at Tilton prepared him for college, why he chose Boston College and what his favorite home-cooked meal is.
