Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College freshman right-handed pitcher Mike King helped lead the Bishop Hendricken to two consecutive (2012,13) state championships. He earned all-academic, all-city, all-division and all-state honors as a junior and senior and as a senior, was named the Rhode Island Gatorade Player of the Year. He also garnered Louisville Slugger First-Team All-American accolades, Rawlings Northeast All-Region second-team honors, the Rhode Island Baseball Coaches Association Player of the Year and Warwick Beacon Athlete of the Year awards. In his senior season, he tallied an 11-0 record with a 0.30 ERA and as a junior, he went 8-2 as a junior with an 0.69 ERA and two no-hitters.
