World Series Trophy Featured at Football Game

The World Series trophy won by the 2013 Boston Red Sox will be on display near Gate E of Alumni Stadium prior to Saturday's football game vs. NC State, which kicks off at 12:30 p.m. The Eagles will salute the Sox during a break in the action in the first half of the game.
Coach Steve Addazio has said he was inspired by the work ethic, determination and togetherness of this year's Red Sox team. "This was a group of guys who worked together, supported each other and made the Red Sox winners again," he said. "That's the kind of positive message that resonates with our football team. That's what we're trying to do here."
