Frates Featured in Prize4Life Video

Former Boston College baseball captain and current director of operations Pete Frates was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in March 2012, at the young age of 27. Since then, aside from helping the Eagles, he has devoted his time to raising awareness and funds for the disease.

Prize4Life, an organization whose mission is to accelerate the discovery of treatments and a cure for ALS by using powerful incentives to attract new people and drive innovation, created a video which interviewed Frates and his parents about living with ALS and the drive to find a cure.
