Baseball Hosts Le Moyne This Weekend

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College baseball team hosts Le Moyne this Saturday and Sunday at Eddie Pellagrini Diamond at Commander Shea Field.
Saturday's game is set for 4 p.m. while the Sunday tilt is at 1 p.m.
The Eagles (16-29), which took the week off for exams, last hosted Le Moyne in 2009 and split an exciting two-game series. In the Saturday game, BC scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth to tie it 4-4, but the Dolphins (22-29) put up a run in the ninth to take the 5-4 win.
The next day, Mike Belfiore did the improbable by hitting a 0-2 pitch out of the park with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the ninth to secure a 10-6 walk-off victory. Belfiore's game-winning grand slam was needed because Le Moyne tied the game in the seventh with four runs.
Following this weekend, BC will host St. John's Tuesday and then NC State for the final regular season ACC series that begins Thursday.
