Igoe Named to ACC All-Tournament Team

Chestnut Hill, MA- Boston College's Kristin Igoe was named to the ACC All-Tournament Team following the ACC Lacrosse Championship last week in Cary, NC. This is the first ever ACC All-Tournament Team selection for the BC lacrosse program.
Igoe scored five goals and had one assist in the 17-3 victory over Virginia Tech in the first round. In the semi-finals against Maryland, Igoe recorded two assists, for a two day total of eight points. The Framingham native currently leads the Eagles this season in goals scored (41) and points (57) and is second on the team in assists (16).
After a strong showing at the ACC Tournament, advancing to the second round for the first time ever, the Eagles have moved up in the national rankings, currently sitting at No. 9, their highest ranking ever.
Boston College (11-6) will travel to UNH, Friday April 29, in their last regular season game, and hopes to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
