Wiswall Named First Team All-ACC

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Junior Mickey Wiswall was voted to the All-ACC First Team, announced Monday by the conference office.
Wiswall becomes the second student-athlete from Boston College to be named to the conference's first team, joining Tony Sanchez who was honored last season. Wiswall was voted to the second team in 2009.
The Stoneham, Mass. product is batting .300 entering the week with 14 doubles, 18 home runs and 60 RBI. His home run number is the second-most in a single season at BC and his RBI total is fifth. He has also scored 52 times which ranks seventh on the single season ledger.
Wiswall ranks second in the ACC in home runs, seventh in RBI and total bases (142) and ninth in slugging percentage (.626).
Wiswall has also etched his name into the Eagles' career record books. He is second all-time in home runs (36), third in RBI (151), fifth in hits (205) and eighth in runs (129).
