Boston College - 5, Harvard - 4
In game one, pitching dominated the first four innings of the game as both teams combined for only six hits in that time.
Harvard opened the scoring in the bottom of the fifth inning scoring all of its runs on back-to-back home runs off of BC starter Nicole D'Argento. A three-run home run by Whitney Shaw, and a solo shot by Jessica Ferri put the Crimson up 4-0 after five innings.
Dani Weir hit a single with one out in the inning, and the comeback was officially on. After a Renee Ramos fielder's choice and walks by Amy Tunstall and Blair Destito the Eagles had the bases loaded with one out. Maria Pandolfo picked up an RBI by drawing a walk to score Ramos making the score 4-1.
With the bases still loaded Ali Lynette-Krech cleared them with one swing of the bat doubling to right center scoring all three runners and tying the game up at 4-4.
The Eagles took the lead on a double steal attempt that Harvard committed an error on allowing Krech to score giving BC a 5-4 lead.
Senior Taylor Peyton (5-9) shut the door on Harvard pitching two innings of one hit ball in relief of D'Argento to pick up the win.

BC extended its lead to 6-2 in the top of the fourth thanks to a clutch two-out two RBI double by Ramos.
Gage was able to hold off Harvard to pick up the win as she pitched a complete game allowing four runs (two earned) on six hits while striking out six.
