Serafini Leads Men's Cross Country In Opening Race

Hanover, N.H. - Boston College freshman Louis Serafini led the men's cross country team with a time of 26:22 for a eighth place finish in the Dartmouth Invitational in a meet that featured Dartmouth, Massachusetts, and Quinnipiac on September 12. The Eagles finished in third place with 73 points.
Dartmouth won the meet with 21 points while Massachusetts 37 points were good enough for second. Quinnipiac came in fourth with 120 points.
Senior Brian Hughes crossed the finish line in 26:43.10 to take 14th place. Juniors Michael Keebler and Philip Woerner finished 15th and 21st, respectively, with times of 26:43.40 and 27:12.50.
Freshman Jordan Hamm also turned in a fine effort in his first collegiate race as he finished with a time of 27:22.60 which put him in 25th.
BC will now prepare for the Purple Valley Classic which will be held on September 26 in Williamstown, Mass.
