Lacrosse Names New Assistant Coaches

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College head lacrosse coach Bowen Holden named Caroline McGuire and CJ Yanofsky to the 2009 coaching staff.
"The addition of Caroline and CJ to our staff brings significant playing experience, as well as incredible enthusiasm for the coaching profession. Both are hard-working & dedicated individuals who are eager to do all that it takes to build a nationally recognized program,'' said Holden. "I am thrilled to welcome them both and know they will bring innovative ideas and great energy to the staff, the team, and the BC community."
McGuire arrives at BC after serving as the assistant women's lacrosse coach at Davidson for one season. She is a 2006 graduate of the University of Richmond. At Richmond, McGuire was a four-year starter on the women's lacrosse team and earned the Most Outstanding Player of the Atlantic 10 Tournament in 2005 and 2006. A 2006 IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-American selection, McGuire was the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year.
Yanofsky is a 2008 Trinity College graduate where she played lacrosse from 2004-2008. Yanofsky, an All-American selection in 2007 and 2008, was also an All-New England Small School Athletic Conference first-team selection. Yanofsky also interned at Major League Lacrosse in 2007.
