Baseball Falls to Northeastern, 6-3

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College (24-25) dropped a non-conference game against Northeastern (23-23-1), 6-3, on Sunday afternoon at Commander Shea Field.
Charly Bashara (3-1) earned the win on hill for the Huskies. The left-hander worked 5.2 innings and allowed three runs on seven hits with one strikeout.
Terry Doyle (3-7) suffered the loss out of the bullpen. In his first relief appearance of the season, Doyle worked two innings and allowed four runs on five hits. The senior also collected a walk and two strikeouts.
Dan Houston worked the first two innings and tallied three punch outs. John Leonard, Chris Kowalski, Steven Cadoret and Nick Asselin each made an appearance for the Eagles.
Garret Smith and Marc Perdios each collected a pair of singles on the afternoon. Harry Darling added a RBI double and Mickey Wiswall smacked a triple and scored a run.
BC is back on the diamond on Tuesday, when Connecticut travels to the Commander Shea Field. First pitch is scheduled at 4 p.m.
