Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College women's lacrosse team will face Holy Cross in its final home game of the season on Saturday, April 19 at noon at Westwood High School's Flahive Field. The Eagles look to improve their 5-8 season record. The Crusaders are 5-10 and playing in the last game of their season.
Before the game, BC will take the time to honor the three seniors on the Eagles, captain Shauna Culhane, defender Catharine Saylor and goalie Courtney Zwirko. All three have played since their freshman seasons and saw the team move from the Big East to the ACC as sophomores.
The Eagles have won 10 of the 13 meetings against the Crusaders, but fell 18-10 in 2007. Juniors Jenna McCabe and Lauren Fitzpatrick are looking to extend their scoring streak to 14 games, as they have notched at least one point in every game this season.
Giveaways and trivia prizes will also be given away at the game.
