Men's Tennis Drops Match to Harvard, 6-1

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Boston College men's tennis team (2-3, 0-1 ACC) dropped a 6-1 decision to the Harvard Crimson (4-2, 0-0 IL) Saturday evening on the Murr Center Courts.
The Eagles managed one singles victory, as freshman Brendon Wong won at the No. 6 spot, 6-7, 6-2 (11-9) in a third-set tie breaker. Fellow freshman Erik Kreutzer also went to the third-set tie breaker, but fell to Alexei Chijoff-Evans at the No. 4 slot, 2-6, 7-6, (10-3).
Freshman Adam Davison and sophomore Thomas Nolan won at the No. 3 doubles pairing, 8-7. Jason Sechrist and Kreutzer suffered their first loss of the season in doubles play, falling 8-3 at the No. 1 spot. The pair is now 4-1 on the season.
The Eagles are back on the court Friday, Feb. 22 in College Park, Md., to take on the Maryland Terrapins. The match is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
