COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Boston College men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Maryland, Friday afternoon in Atlantic Coast Conference play. The Eagles are now 2-4 overall, 0-2 in the ACC.
Senior Jason Sechrist dropped a three-set tie-breaker to Boris Fetbroyt at the No. 4 singles spot, 6-2, 3-6 and 7-6 (5). Sechrist was the only singles player to force a match to three games.
Junior Alex Rastorgouev and sophomore Brian Garber were defeated by No. 30 Andy Orban and Boris Fetbroyt, 8-6, at the No. 2 doubles spot.
The Eagles are back on the court Friday, Feb. 23 in Charlottesville, Va., to play the Virginia Cavaliers.
