Men's Tennis Drops Road Match to No. 31 SMU

DALLAS, Texas– The Boston College men's tennis team (4-15, 0-13 ACC) fell 4-0 to No. 31 Southern Methodist University (19-2, 8-5 ACC) Saturday afternoon at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex.

SMU secured the doubles point with wins on courts No. 1 and No. 3. The Eagles responded with a win at No. 2 as the duo of Luke Levanat and Matvey Greschner recorded a 6-4 victory.

In singles play, SMU clinched the match with straight-set wins on courts No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4. Three matches remained unfinished, including Mai Gao who had a tightly contested first set before falling 7-5. Lukas Rais' match also remained unfinished at 4-4 in the second set.
