Lacrosse Announces Spring Schedule

Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College Women's Lacrosse team announced its Spring 2009 schedule on Thursday.
The schedule will feature two home ACC matches against Virginia and Duke, as well as home game against cross-town rivals Boston University and Harvard.
"Playing five teams who made it to the NCAA quarterfinals or beyond in 2008 will certainly test our team this season," said Head Coach Bowen Holden. "The strength and competitiveness of the ACC is also always impressive, and the leadership of our senior class, our first four-year ACC class, will be crucial. We are excited about taking more steps forward in 2009."
The Eagles kick-off their season February 21 with a game at Canisius College at 12:00 p.m. BC's first home game of the year, in a brand new stadium at the Newton Campus, is against Brown on Wednesday March 11, at 4:30 p.m.
