Cross Country Hosts Boston College Invitational

The Boston College men's and women's cross country teams will open the 2006 season by hosting the inaugural Boston College Invitational on Friday afternoon at Franklin Park. The action will start at 3:30 p.m. with the women's 5,000-meter (3.1 miles) race, followed by the men's 8,000-meter (5.1 miles) race at 4:00 p.m.
The Eagles will host former Big East rivals, Providence, as well as Stony Brook, Bentley, Rhode Island and Northeastern at BC's home course, Franklin Park, which was the site of the 1992 World Cross Country Championships.
