Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Shawn McGill scored the game-winning run in his final home game as Boston College took the rubber match of a three-game series against Maryland, 6-3.
In the eighth, McGill shot a single thorough the shortstop-third base hole with one out and Ryan Hutchinson followed with his second infield hit of the game. Freshman Eric Campbell then delivered a double to left, scoring both runners and giving the Eagles a 5-3 lead.
