Breaznell Named Big East Offensive Player Of The Week

Providence, R.I. - Senior co-captain Susie Breaznell was named Big East Offensive Player of the Week in an announcement made by the conference office on Monday. It is the first time this season Breaznell has received the honor.
Breaznell scored nine goals and added an assist for 10 points in two games this past week. In Wednesday's contest against Harvard, she tallied three goals and won three draw controls for the Eagles. In an 18-11 win against St. Mary's of California on Sunday, Breaznell netted a season-high six goals and notched an assist for seven points. She also picked up a team-high three groundballs and came up with four draw controls.
Breaznell leads the team with 49 points on 44 goals and five assists.
BC (10-5) will travel to Hanover, N.H. on Wednesday, May 2 to play Dartmouth. The action starts at 6 p.m.
