In this week's CollegeBaseballInsider.com Northeast Coaches Poll, Boston College is in a second-place tie with St. John's.
The Eagles (21-9) earned 150 points, including two first-place votes, and are 20 points behind top-ranked UNC-Wilmington. The Eagles are in second place for the second consecutive week and also received votes in this week's NCBWA national poll.
BC plays its first game at Shea Field on Thursday afternoon when it takes on Hartford at 3:30.
