Details Of Baseball Beanpot Announced

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College will play Northeastern on Tuesday, April 22 at 5 p.m. in the first round of the 14th-annual Beanpot Baseball Tournament, held at historic Fenway Park.
The first game of the day pits UMass-Amherst against Harvard and will begin at 2 p.m.
The winner of both first-round games will meet Wednesday, April 23 at 5 p.m. in the championship game. The losers will face each other at 2 p.m. in a seven-inning consolation contest.
The rain date for the tournament is Thursday, April 24.
Tickets are $5 and will be sold both days at Gate D at Fenway Park beginning at 1 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to The Jimmy Fund.
Boston College has won the Beanpot five times, the last title coming in 2001.
