Softball Rained Out Of Final Day In Hawaii

HONOLULU, Hi. -- The final day of the Malihini Classic tournament was canceled Sunday morning due to heavy rains in Hawaii. The rain started in the early morning hours and was forecasted throughout the day.

Boston College was to play two games Sunday. The Eagles were to face Loyola-Marymount at 3:00 p.m. and host Hawaii at 5:00 p.m., in a game already postponed from Friday night. The Eagles were 2-2 in the tournament and are 6-11 overall this season.

Boston College will next begin doubleheader play with a twin bill at Central Connecticut Saturday.
