Legath Earns BIG EAST Lacrosse Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Boston College women's lacrosse sophomore Courtney Legath was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 10, as announced by the league office. The sophomore attack led the Eagles to victory in their season opener, a 13-12 tally over La Salle.

Legath contributed three goals and three assists for six points in the match. She had eight shots on goal, while adding one draw control. The second-year player is the BC's leading scorer after finishing fourth on the team a year ago with 34 points and 23 goals.
