Eagles Finish Fall Season At Foot Of The Charles

BOSTON - The Boston College women's rowing team closed its 2003 fall season competing in cold and windy conditions Saturday, November 15, at the Foot of the Charles. The Eagles grabbed a fifth-place finish in Varsity Eight competition while all three of their A-boat's placed in the top 10 in the three races rowed.
Rowing in Varsity Four competition, Boston College's A-boat finished eighth, just 35 seconds behind race-winner Radcliffe. The Eagles' B-boat finished 17th.
Boston College rowed a total of four boats in Novice Eight competition, highlighted by an eighth-place performance by its top crew. Three other Boston College crew's competed in Novice Eight racing finishing 11th, 19th and 20th.
The Foot of the Charles marked the final race of the 2003 fall season for Boston College. The Eagles return to racing Saturday, March 20, when they travel to Camden, N.J. for the Jesuit Invitational.
