Times Set For Baseball Beanpot Tournament

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College baseball team will take part in the 13th-annual Beanpot Tournament on April 16, and 23 at historic Fenway Park in Boston. In the four-team tournament, the Eagles will take on UMass-Amherst at 2 p.m. Harvard and Northeastern will square off in the day's first game, which begins at 11 a.m.
On Tuesday, April 23, the consolation game will take place at 11 a.m., which will be followed by the championship game at 2 p.m. Boston College, who has won the Beanpot four times (1990, '92, '99 and 2001), enters as the reigning champion after defeating UMass, 10-5. Boston College senior Brian Durkin was named the tournament's most valuable player last year.
Admission for all games is free.
