CHESTNUT HILL, MASS. - Behind Matt Primm's five goals and two assists, the Crimson of Harvard upended the Boston College men's lacrosse team, 21-5, in a St. Patrick's Day contest. The loss drops the Eagles to 0-2 on the young season, while Harvard runs its record to 2-0.
In addition to Primm's exploits, the Crimson received multiple point efforts from five others. Harvard's potent offensive attack proved to be too much for Boston College junior netminder James Karambay (Newington, CT), who was pressured all afternoon. Karambay made 12 saves on the day.
Highlighting the effort for the Eagles was a two-goal game by junior Sean Connelly (Kansas City, MO). In addition, senior James Garth (Fort Worth, TX) tallied a goal and two assists.
The Eagles look to enter the win column on Wednesday, March 21, when they travel to Amherst, MA to take on the Minutemen of Massachusetts. The game is slated to begin at 4:00 p.m.
